James Casey takes his downwind foiling to the next level by deflating his wing and re-inflating it with a CO2 cartridge all whilst on the foil in this World First
In this video James explains the potential of his discovery. It allows the rider to have an easier entry point into the art of downwind foiling, previously made possible by SUP paddle or the use of a jetski. The foiler uses their wing to tack upwind to the starting point of a downwinder, then while tacking on the downwind path you can deflate and pack up your wing. If you crash and need to get up again, you can then inflate your wing using a compact CO2 cartridge.
